3000 NFL Mock Draft: Reviewing the first week of college football, previewing the Seahawks Week 1 matchup

Labor Day football talk!

It's Labor Day and that is why Rob Staton and I decided to do some labor. We recorded our second episode of 3000 NFL Mock Draft on Monday because it's absolutely essential that we buckle down and talk about the full slate of college football games that transpired over last week and the weekend, with the exception of tonight's game between Virginia Tech and Ohio State. I guess the Buckeyes will just have to wait a week before they are bestowed with the incredible honor of us talking about them on this show.

Today we talked about the quarterbacks, including UCLA freshman Josh Rosen, the disappointing performances of Connor Cook and Christian Hackenburg, the embarrassing loss by Washington State, what running backs the Seahawks could possibly target in next year's draft if they're looking for the heir apparent to Marshawn Lynch, and much, much more. If you want to just hear about the Seahawks, then towards the end we do spend some time talking about their Week 1 matchup against the St. Louis Rams and just how amazingly deep this defensive line is, and they are backed by a pretty good-looking middle-three and back-four. With or without Kam Chancellor.

3000 NFL Mock Draft will be available on iTunes soon! In the meantime, please enjoy this YouTube video.
