Well, this is pretty cool...
The last 3 times the #1 offense (YPG) faced the #1 defense in Wk 6 or later, the defense won. All 3x, that defense belonged to @Seahawks pic.twitter.com/Bo8DGjmS0c

The Atlanta Falcons got what they wanted in the third quarter but were stifled in quarters 1, 2, and 4. Overall they had 362 yards of offense, their lowest output of the season. The Falcons had 310 net passing yards, the most the Seahawks gave allowed all year. So overall, Atlanta’s offense proved (again) that it is legit, with Matt Ryan tossing three touchdown passes in the third quarter against the Seattle defense.
But still the Seahawks took a 17-3 lead into halftime and shut them down in the fourth quarter to setup another comeback victory. I think both teams proved something on Sunday but Seattle did what they do best: Beat the best.
It will be interesting to see if these two teams meet again in the playoffs and if they both are still ranked number one on offense and defense. It was truly an even match.
