The Seattle Seahawks are getting set to play the New York Jets on Sunday morning and they will indeed have Russell Wilson (ankle, MCL) active and starting for them. They will also have the debut of rookie guard Germain Ifedi (ankle) who missed the first three games of the season.
But the Seahawks won’t have fellow rookies Nick Vannett (ankle), CJ Prosise (hand), or Jarran Reed (hip), leaving them without three potential key players. Especially Reed, who had been great in the run defense and had two batted passes this season.
Also active is Jimmy Graham (back), who had back spasms on Thursday and missed practice but was back by Friday.
Rounding out the inactive list is Thomas Rawls, Tyvis Powell, Rees Odhiambo, and George Fant.
The Jets inactives include wide receivers Eric Decker and Jalen Marshall, as well as new tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins. They also keep two inactive quarterbacks.
