J.K. Rowling pledges allegiance to the Seattle Seahawks

At his Wednesday press conference, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman wore a full Harry Potter costume because his son asked him to. Sherman is a longtime fan of the series himself, having been first in line for midnight showings during his time at Stanford U and now passing that love down to the next generation.

Well, HP author JK Rowling is sending that love right on back.

At a time when endorsements are as important of an issue as ever during this hot political climate, the biggest endorsement of the day belongs to Rowling and her support of the Seahawks. Perhaps someday Seattle will be making the trip to London for a game and Rowling can raise either the 12th Man flag or one for Gryffindor at least.

No word yet on if the installment of her new book series will be Fantastic Beast Modes and the Legion of Boom.
