Seahawks 2017 schedule: All but one opponent decided

Unless it’s in the playoffs, the Seattle Seahawks are not playing the Carolina Panthers next season. Enjoy the break.

We do know 15 of their opponents however, and here they are:

At home:

  • Arizona Cardinals
  • LA Rams
  • San Francisco 49ers
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Washington Redskins
  • Houston Texans
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Atlanta Falcons

On the road:

  • Arizona Cardinals
  • LA Rams
  • San Francisco 49ers
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • New York Giants
  • Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Tennessee Titans
  • WINNER OF NFC NORTH

The last opponent to be decided will come on Sunday when the Detroit Lions face the Green Bay Packers for the NFC North title. If you think it’s too difficult to win in Green Bay, you’ll want to root for the Lions. It’s a double-bonus to potentially seeing Detroit knock the Packers out of this year’s playoffs.

Some other potentially interesting matchups next year:

  • Dan Quinn returns to Seattle with the Falcons. How far will Quinn take Atlanta into the playoffs this year?
  • Battle of 2012 mid-round picks: Kirk Cousins vs Russell Wilson, Josh Norman vs Doug Baldwin (or something?)
  • Jadeveon Clowney and JJ Watt vs the Seahawks offensive line. (No thanks.)
  • Who should’ve been real number one pick in 2012: Russell Wilson vs Andrew Luck.
  • Wilson vs Dak. Dez vs Sherm.
  • Odell Beckham Jr vs Richard Sherman.
  • Revenge for Gus Bradley.
  • Russell Wilson vs Marcus Mariota.
