NFL Combine results 2016: 40 times, testing scores from running back workouts

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The running backs group has finished their measurements and on-field testing portion of the NFL Combine and here are the results (table below).

A few standouts:

Keith Marshall, Georgia -- ran a 4.31 at 5'11, 219 pounds, so you know he's going to be on Seattle's radar at least. He's struggled with injuries during his college career so that's a red flag (as is his 30-inch jump, which isn't as explosive as you'd hope), but the speed is undeniable at that weight. His tape will be worth another look.

Kenneth Dixon, Louisiana State -- Dixon's 40-time isn't great (4.58), but when you realize Christine Michael ran a 4.54, you realize Dixon's long speed isn't far off. Like Michael, he was explosive -- 10'1 in the broad jump and 37.5" in the vertical, and his sub-7.0 second 3-cone is nice.

Daniel Lasco, Cal -- obviously, the 41.5" vert, 11'3" broad, along with a very nice 4.46 forty will put him on some people's radars. He's 209 pounds, a little light for what the Seahawks normally look like, but if he could add weight without losing too much explosiveness, he could be an option.

C.J. Prosise, Notre Dame -- I still need to watch a lot of tape, but I like Prosise quite a bit and his times were not disappointing in Indy. He ran a 4.48 in the 40 at 220 pounds, and jumped 35.5" in the vert and 10'1" in the broad. He had some fumbling issues in college and is still pretty raw as a running back, so he's a guy to keep an eye on. Great, smooth athlete.

Dan Vitale, Northwestern -- 6'1, 239 pound fullback that ran a 4.6 in the 40 with a 38.5" vert and a 10'3" broad. Yeah, he'll be on Seattle's radar.

Brandon Wilds, South Carolina -- 6'1, 220, with a 36.5" vert, a 9'10" broad, and a 4.54 forty. Good times.

Obviously, add Derrick Henry to this list, but you have heard a lot about him already.
