The NFL Combine testing wrapped up today but with travel I haven't been able to post all the full results. Let's get caught up on that. Here's how the quarterbacks fared.
Notes:
Vernon Adams' results (4.83 40, 29.5" vert) were pretty underwhelming but the 6.82 3-cone and 4.2 short shuttle showed that he's "quicker than fast," as they say.
Paxton Lynch proved he's very athletic (4.86 40, 36" vert, 9'10" broad, good short shuttle/3-cone), Cardale Jones was on his way to a very nice performance (4.81 40, 36" vert) before tweaking his hamstring running his second 40, and Jeff Driskel put together a very solid set of numbers (4.56 40, 32" vert, 10'2" broad, good SS/3-Cone). Josh Woodrum's 3-cone 6.74 was incredibly fast, and not just for a quarterback (8th best overall).
