NFL Draft Results 2016: Seahawks trade #26 pick to Denver Broncos, pick up #31 and #94

Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Seahawks have traded their 1st round pick, #26 overall, to the Broncos, who move up to select Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch. Makes a lot of sense. The Seahawks also traded with the Vikings in 2014, who moved up at the time to select Teddy Bridgewater.

To move up, the Broncos send Seattle the 31st overall pick plus surrender their 3rd round pick, #94 overall.

The Seahawks love to trade back and accumulate more picks, so this comes as no surprise, even with UCLA linebacker Myles Jack still on the board. Seattle evidently sees a clump of players they really like still sitting there at #31. Then again, they could trade back again, for all we know. We'll see.

Seattle now owns 10 total picks. Here are those picks:

Round 1, Pick 31 (31):
Round 2, Pick 25 (56):
Round 3, Pick 27 (90):
Round 3, Pick 31 (94):
Round 3, Pick 35 (97) (Comp pick):
Round 4, Pick 26 (124):
Round 5, Pick 34 (171) (Comp pick):
Round 6, Pick 40 (215) (Comp pick):
Round 7, Pick 4 (225) (From Cowboys):
