Coffee and Cigarettes: Seahawks links for Saturday

Read!

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Aloha! So it's been...slow...on the Seahawks news front. So slow that when I see a Seahawks related article in this desert of an off season my first reaction is that it must be either a mirage or that it's about the UNCW Seahawks (yes, THE University of North Carolina at Wilmington Seahawks). I try very hard not to overlap with content that has been posted on the site over the course of the previous day, but in the event that there are C&C readers who get their Hawks fix primarily in the morning, I will be rehashing some news items that you may have overlooked on the site over the past 24 hours, as well as any new items pertaining to the NFL and our Seahawks. Today, I lead with a story about Russell Wilson trying to sell you football shaped bread. So, you know, you're welcome. Tomorrow I will get a post up about why, in my experience, the Seahawks have ignored drafting OL high, with the exception of recently departed LT Russell Okung and less recently departed OG James Carpenter. Look forward to hearing your thoughts. As always, the strength of this daily post is it's readers and those who comment, so please let me know how I can better service this community. Hope everyone has an amazing day!

And now...to the links!
