Chris Clemons contract details with the Seahawks: One year, max value of $1.5M. Base salary of $1M with $150,000 signing bonus. Additional bonuses (roster and workout) of $350,000 available. Total guarantee is $150,000. Details suggest that he will have to compete for a roster spot.

So, more or less what was expected.
It's hard not to see this as a win for the Seahawks. Worst case scenario, Clem comes in and shows the young 'uns what it means to be a professional. Best case scenario, he not only provides leadership but also pads his already impressive career sack total in the 2016 season.
