The Seattle Seahawks officially open up their 2016 campaign on Sunday, hosting the (again) revamped Miami Dolphins in Adam Gase’s first game in charge. It’ll be debuts for the 2016 Seahawks draft class except for a couple, namely first-round pick Germain Ifedi, who suffered a high ankle sprain this week at practice and will now miss several weeks with the injury.

Nothing is official yet, but the thought has to be that veteran J’Marcus Webb will slide into Ifedi’s right guard position, leaving Justin Britt at his newfound position in the middle of the offensive line. Whoever ends up at right guard will have their hands full, playing across from dream-crusher extraordinaire Ndamukong Suh.

On the other side of the ball, Russell Wilson and the high flying offense will get a chance to start brightly against a weak Dolphins secondary that includes former Seahawks CB Byron Maxwell.

The game was best remembered for a shaky roughing the passer penalty called on Earl Thomas to give Miami another shot at Seattle’s end zone. Following this game, news of a four-game suspension for both Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner broke.
