Enemy Reaction: 2017 NFL Wild Card Weekend Recap

NFL: NFC Wild Card-New York Giants at Green Bay Packers Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Let’s be honest with ourselves, even including the Seahawks’ win over the Lions, the opening weekend of the 2017 NFL Playoffs was kinda lame. All of the home teams won by at least 13 points, and somehow the Connor Cook-led Oakland Raiders led all road teams with a whopping 14 points. It was the first wild card round since 1996 to have all four games end in double-digit margins.

What isn’t lame is this special wild card recap edition of Enemy Reaction. There were plenty of meltdowns to be had, especially from the New York Giants, who had their way with the Green Bay Packers for much of the 1st half, and still managed to get destroyed by 25. We’ll start with Oakland-Houston, continue to Miami-Pittsburgh, then finish off at Lambeau Field.
