The never-ending quest to update you on the health of Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise continues on Thursday with some bad news: Prosise is reportedly doubtful to suit up against the Atlanta Falcons:
#Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise (scapula) is considered doubtful to play Saturday at #Falcons, sources said.

If Prosise is unable to go, the team won’t necessarily “replace” him with anyone because he is irreplaceable. Prosise is a special and unique talent, the closest version of which they could find earlier in the year being C.J. Spiller. But Spiller was nowhere near as explosive or impactful as the rookie third round pick out of Notre Dame.
On the bright side, the Seahawks will have fullback Marcel Reece and are already going up against the NFL’s 29th-ranked run defense by DVOA. With Thomas Rawls, Alex Collins, and Reece, the running game should be solid as is. However, Prosise is just an unpredictable and difficult-to-contain wild card that makes game-planning to stop Seattle that much more difficult.
The Seahawks and Falcons kickoff at 1:35 PM PST on Saturday.
