The Seattle Seahawks look to get back to .500 tonight against the Indianapolis Colts, who picked up their first win of the season last week against the Browns. When the schedule was released in April, the expectation was that we’d see Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson in a Sunday night showcase. Well we’re getting Russell Wilson, but there is no Andrew Luck for at least a couple more weeks, as he recovers from shoulder surgery.
Seattle normally shines in primetime home games, having lost just once since 2010 in the Pete Carroll era. They’ve also not lost to an AFC team at home since the Bengals beat them 34-12 back in 2011. The Colts are looking for their third consecutive win over the Seahawks, and their first at CenturyLink Field. Neither team wants a 1-3 start, but the Colts definitely want to have as good a record as possible before Luck returns. The Seahawks are looking to rectify the ongoing problems with the rushing offense and defense, which has looked out of sorts. They are notoriously slow starters, but they can’t afford to drop many more games or else it’ll be panic time.
