The 3-2 Seattle Seahawks return from their bye week for a road game against the 1-5 New York Giants, who finally got themselves a win last week in Denver. Seattle is currently a half-game behind the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West race, but they did beat the Rams in Los Angeles two Sundays ago.

MetLife Stadium has been a great place for the Seahawks. They won 36-25 over the eventual Super Bowl champion Giants in 2011, shut out the Giants 23-0 in 2013, won Super Bowl 48 with a 43-8 romp of the Broncos, and last season they prevailed 27-17 over the Jets. This is another important game for Seattle, who are seeking a third consecutive win, and ditto for the extremely banged up Giants, who can’t afford another loss if they want to make a miraculous playoff push.
