Jimmy Graham trade rumors: Pete Carroll and John Schneider both say Seahawks TE won’t be dealt

A report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport stated that the Seattle Seahawks were willing to trade Jimmy Graham if it meant that they’d receive a quality left tackle in return. Cordy Glenn and Duane Brown, who is making his season debut for the Houston Texans against Seattle on Sunday, are two of the names brought up in discussions regarding a possible Seahawks trade.

Graham’s future beyond the 2017 NFL season has been subject to much debate, and his slow start to this year has fueled the belief that the tight end may be shipped even before his contract expires.

With that in mind, here are two tweets with quotes from head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider, shooting down the claims that Graham may be heading elsewhere.

The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, October 31st at 4 PM ET. Unless Carroll and Schneider are lying, then it looks as if any path towards improving the left tackle position via trade will not involve Jimmy Graham.
