Enemy Reaction 2017: Houston Texans (Part I)

NFL: Houston Texans at Seattle Seahawks Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

Whenever I have to split Enemy Reaction into two parts, you know the Seahawks have been involved in something special. Prior to Sunday’s win over the Houston Texans, I hadn’t done this since the 2015 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the one before that was the NFC Championship Game vs. Green Bay. They all have one thing in common: Russell Wilson leading the Seahawks to a come-from-behind win.

Part I is just gamethread screenshots from Field Gulls and Battle Red Blog, and the cutoff point will be the third quarter, with part II focusing entirely on the final fifteen minutes, which had roughly as many screenshots as the first three quarters combined.

Let’s get the show rolling!

Deshaun Watson finds Will Fuller for a 59-yard touchdown (7-0 HOU)

Earl Thomas gets revenge on Watson with a pick-six (7-7)

Lamar Miller finds the end zone (14-7 HOU)

Seahawks win challenge that argued Russell Wilson fumbled forward for a first down (14-7 HOU)

Russell Wilson throws a touchdown to Paul Richardson (14-14)

Will Fuller beats Richard Sherman for his second touchdown of the afternoon (21-14 HOU)

Tanner McEvoy’s first catch of the season goes for 53 yards (21-14 HOU)

Paul Richardson gets his second touchdown to tie the score up before halftime (21-21)

After Houston kicks a field goal, Russell Wilson completes 66-yarder to... TRE MADDEN?! (24-21 HOU)

Thomas Rawls can’t corral a touchdown pass on 3rd and goal, Seahawks settle for a field goal (24-24)

Richard Sherman picks off Deshaun Watson, setting up another field goal before the end of the 3rd quarter (27-24 SEA)

A foreshadowing comment from a Texans fan during the first quarter...

Part II will be rolled out on Tuesday. Thanks for reading and go ‘Hawks!
