The Seattle Seahawks are looking for their first road win of the 2017 NFL season, as they take on the Los Angeles Rams at the LA Coliseum. Seattle comes into this one with a record of 2-2, while the Rams are 3-1, just as they were in 2016, but this time they have a formidable offense.

It’s still reasonably early in the season, yet it’s such an important divisional showdown between these two rivals. A Seattle win puts them atop the NFC West on head-to-head tiebreaker as they head into their bye week, while a Rams win would put Sean McVay’s side two games up on the Seahawks, and they would have the head-to-head advantage. The Seahawks will be without running back C.J. Prosise, defensive end Cliff Avril, and defensive back Jeremy Lane. On the Rams side, the injury problems are decidedly less concerning, although they may be without starting free safety Lamarcus Joyner, who has been battling a hamstring injury.

Seattle’s offense finally clicked in last week’s blowout win over the Colts, but the Rams have been a thorn in their side for years. Jared Goff and Todd Gurley have LA’s offense looking like one of the best in the NFL, so it’s a massive day for the Seahawks defense to try and stop the hype train.
