The inactives for both teams have been announced for the Monday Night Football matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Atlanta Falcons.
Seahawks: Luke Joeckel, Thomas Rawls, Jarran Reed, Garrison Smith, Quentin Jefferson, Kam Chancellor, Michael Wilhoite
Falcons: Nick Williams, Sharrod Neasman, Devonta Freeman, Blidi Wreh-Wilson, Duke Riley, Sean Harlow, Austin Pasztor
As Seattle had indicated would be the case, both Luke Joeckel and Kam Chancellor are inactive for the game. Joeckel had a follow up procedure on his left knee during the Week 6 bye and apparently his recovery is not to the point where his knee can withstand playing. Chancellor, as most fans know, suffered a stinger near the end of the Week 10 Thursday Night matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. He will miss the rest of the year.
Another unfortunate blow is that defensive tackle Jarran Reed is also out.
The best news for the Seahawks is that Duane Brown is active, and presumably will start at left tackle. Brown injured his ankle against the Arizona Cardinals, and in spite of being limited in practice it appears he will be in place to take on Adrian Clayborn who singlehandedly recorded six sacks last week against the Dallas Cowboys.
Thomas Rawls appears to be a healthy scratch.
