Video: Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin combine for jaw-dropping 54-yard play

The Seattle Seahawks are banged up and trudging their way through an ugly Thursday Night Football away game against the Arizona Cardinals, but this play was the most beautiful display of ugliness the Seahawks have had in quite some time.

Faced with 2nd and 21, Russell Wilson was in trouble, running backwards, pump faking to hopefully freeze Tyrann Mathieu and Chandler Jones, and then he flung the ball in the direction of Doug Baldwin (who was originally blocking on the play!)... and incredibly he snagged it and took off for a 54-yard gain.

You have to watch what happened because I seriously can’t believe this actually worked out.

One play later, Wilson found Jimmy Graham for his second touchdown of the night, giving Seattle a 22-10 lead. Poor Antoine Bethea was victimized twice in the span of about a minute, but one play will certainly be remembered more than the other.

The Wilson-to-Baldwin connection continues to be one of the most iconic duos in Seattle sports history.
