Seahawks-Jaguars: Bobby Wagner questionable to return with hamstring injury

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks defense has given up three touchdowns in its last three plays against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the common denominator was no Bobby Wagner.

Seattle’s Defensive Player of the Year candidate had been bothered by a hamstring injury for several weeks, and this is currently what is keeping him out of this game. He is questionable to return and has been replaced by Terence Garvin, who seemed partially culpable on Blake Bortles’ touchdown throw to Dede Westbrook.

This is even more terrible news for a Seahawks defense already missing Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman, not to mention a couple of gameday scratches on the defensive line. If Wagner can’t return to this game at the very least, it’s going to be big trouble, as Bortles has performed just fine and the Seahawks look to be in danger of a devastating loss.

Jacksonville currently leads Seattle 24-10 in the 3rd quarter.
