It looks as if the Seattle Seahawks will be without linebacker K.J. Wright, who suffered a concussion on this play against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Wright was listed as doubtful in the team’s injury report for Sunday’s crucial NFC West showdown against the Los Angeles Rams. He’s still under concussion protocol, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he was officially ruled out on Saturday.
Now for Bobby Wagner, it’s a more encouraging situation. Like Wright, he did not practice on Friday, but unlike his teammate, Wagner’s been listed as questionable with a lingering hamstring problem. He’ll be a game-time decision, so if neither man can go, get ready for Terence Garvin and Michael Wilhoite as your starters for Sunday, with DJ Alexander also getting some snaps.
The good news is that running back Mike Davis (ribs) is expected to play (and presumably start). Ditto for defensive end Dion Jordan, who’s missed each of the last two weeks with a neck issue. Rookie defensive tackle Nazair Jones’ ankle injury is expected to keep him out yet again.
On the Rams’ side... well they did lose cornerback Kayvon Webster for the season in last week’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but their injury report is incredibly light. Starting tackles Rob Havenstein and Andrew Whitworth both were banged up against Philly, but Brandon Allen is the only question mark to play, and he’s the third-string quarterback.
