Seahawks list 3 as questionable vs Cowboys, update on Bobby Wagner, Frank Clark

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Seattle Seahawks Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks have suffered through some major injuries this season, but are about as healthy as could be expected going into their must-win game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The Seahawks listed D.J. Alexander as out, Nazair Jones as doubtful, and Frank Clark, Bradley McDougald, and Nick Vannett as questionable on Friday.

Off the injury report are Bobby Wagner, who was somewhat limited in last week’s blowout loss to the LA Rams, and K.J. Wright, who was out for that game. Both are good to go for Sunday, while Pete Carroll noted that McDougald is going to be able to start at strong safety despite his injury. There is no concrete answer on the status of Clark, who showed up on the report after Carroll spoke to the media, per Bob Condotta.

The Seahawks are in a must-win situation as the loser of this game will be officially knocked out of postseason contention. If they win and the Atlanta Falcons lose, it’ll tie them with the Falcons with one game left to go — needing a win and an Atlanta loss in Week 17 to secure a wild card berth. Seattle could also still win the division if they win out and the Rams lose out, but that is not as likely.

The Falcons are playing the 10-4 Carolina Panthers, so there’s definitely still some hope if the Seahawks win, and they’ve got more reinforcements than they had in the last two weeks.
