The gameday inactives are in for the Seattle Seahawks’ must-win game against the Dallas Cowboys, and this week is Eddie Lacy’s turn to be the healthy scratch. It appears as if Lacy and Rawls are alternating spots as the third running back on the roster, except Lacy gets a $62,500 bonus each week he’s active. Rookie defensive lineman Nazair Jones is out again, as his ankle continues to be an issue.
One name not on the inactives list is DB Deshawn Shead, so he will play for the first time since his ACL tear in the divisional playoff loss to the Atlanta Falcons back in January. Linebackers Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright are both good to go, with Wright coming back from a concussion he suffered two weeks ago in Jacksonville. Hopefully Wagner’s hamstring is feeling better, because he wasn’t himself last week against the Los Angeles Rams.
On Dallas’ side, the big news is that left tackle Tyron Smith (knee) is active. He’d been a question mark all week with an LCL sprain, but he’s set to play as the Cowboys look to save their season. Also of note, defensive end David Irving and cornerback Orlando Scandrick are both out.
Here are the full inactives:
Seahawks inactives: RB Eddie Lacy, WR David Moore, DB Mike Tyson, C Joey Hunt, DL Nazair Jones, DL Quinton Jefferson, LB D.J. Alexander
Cowboys inactives: WR Brice Butler, CB Orlando Scandrick, LB Justin Durant, DT Richard Ash, DE-LB Justin March-Lillard, TE Blake Jarwin, DE David Irving
