Cigar Thoughts, Game 12: Seahawks upset expectations that the window was closed

NFL: Buffalo Bills at Seattle Seahawks Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

(Kenneth note: The Seahawks beat the Eagles 24-10 on Sunday Night Football, with Russell Wilson throwing three touchdowns and the Seattle defense doing work to shut down the number one scoring offense even without Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor. It resets all expectations on how good the Seahawks actually are with four games left in the regular season. That’s a small recap on what happened in the game with zero of the poetic flair of Jacson, and the reason for that is below:)

Hey guys, I got an an incredible and unexpected opportunity to attend this game with a childhood buddy that I haven’t seen in a long time so, uh, yeah I went and did that. And as much as I love writing for y’all, it’s rare that I get a chance to watch a game purely as a fan and lose myself in the beautiful cacophony of The CLink on game day. With that in mind, please excuse my absence from this space this week.

I would however, love to check the comments out tomorrow and see how you thought it went. So, leave a comment with your favorite thing about the game, your least favorite, and what you think the outcome means for the Seahawks moving forward.

Onward, upward, and cheers!
