It’s Sunday Night Football at CenturyLink Field, as the Seattle Seahawks (7-4) host the NFL-best Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) in by far the most-anticipated matchup of week 13 in the 2017 NFL season. Seattle is in desperate need of a win in terms of both the NFC West and wild card races, while Philadelphia can lock up the NFC East with a win or a tie.
Philadelphia is a six-point favorite. Alternatively, the Seahawks are a six-point underdog at home, which is unthinkable in the Russell Wilson era. Also unthinkable? Seattle potentially losing its third consecutive home game. The Seahawks do get some reinforcements back, as Mike Davis and Shaquill Griffin will return to the lineup after they both missed last week with their respective injuries. Philadelphia is relatively healthy, they’re led by their own MVP candidate QB in Carson Wentz, and are about as balanced a team as you can get in the NFL. It should be a great contest that will tell us a lot about both squads as the playoff race reaches its climax.
