Seahawks-Eagles game thread, 3rd quarter: Seattle holds slim lead after 1st half

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

There was only one touchdown in the first half of the Seahawks-Eagles Sunday Night Game, and thankfully it went to Jimmy Graham as Seattle leads 10-3.

Carson Wentz is just 9-of-13 for 45 yards, getting sacked one time by Frank Clark. Philly has been fairly effective on the ground, rushing it 19 times for 91 yards, but they’ve yet to score a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Russell Wilson went 10-of-12 for 101 yards and that touchdown to Graham. Mike Davis is the primary ballcarrier, gaining 19 yards on seven carries. He’s also the team’s leading receiver with 32 yards on two catches. Even without their number one cornerback, the Seahawks have held Alshon Jeffery to zero targets in the first half.

If Seattle holds on, they’ll improve to 8-4 and stay one game out of the lead in the NFC West while holding the six seed in the postseason races after 12 games. It would also knock the Eagles down to 10-2, closing the gap between them and anyone going after the number one seed.
