The Seattle Seahawks (9-6) end their 2017 NFL regular season campaign with a home against the Arizona Cardinals (7-8), who have won in Seattle three of the last four seasons. While the Cardinals are playing the role of spoiler, the Seahawks are trying to make the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season. They need a win against the Cardinals, plus a win or tie by the Carolina Panthers against the Atlanta Falcons to quality for the postseason again. A loss ends the Seahawks’ season, as does an Atlanta win, or a Seahawks tie and a Falcons tie or win.
Seattle saved their season last week with a 21-12 win over the Dallas Cowboys, and thanks to some fortunate results breaking their way, the team’s once bleak-looking playoff hopes have been considerably boosted. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are a banged up team looking to end their year on a high note, with the future of head coach Bruce Arians in doubt. Drew Stanton is going to get the start, as he did when these two teams first met in November. Unlike their first meeting, the Seahawks will not have Richard Sherman or Kam Chancellor, both of whom saw their seasons end in the reverse fixture. One thing that is for certain is the Seahawks offense really needs to get going, as they’ve only racked up 285 yards COMBINED over the past two weeks.
Here are all the details you need on Seattle’s regular season finale (but hopefully not the final game of their season), including broadcast information, live streaming options, radio commentary, television coverage, and more:
