According to the Twitterverse, former Seattle Seahawks safety Tyvis Powell has been claimed off of waivers by the Cleveland Browns:

Tyvis himself looked to confirm the report through a tweet to his fellow Legion of Boom members:
Hey @RSherman_25 @Kam_Chancellor @Earl_Thomas @dshead24 & @StayingInMyLane I appreciate everything y'all taught me. Bros 4 life! Ba-Lee Dat!

Powell was waived before the playoffs to make room for kick returner Devin Hester. The rookie took to Twitter to let all 12’s know that he was totally okay with the move if it helped the Seahawks win:
It's all love for the @Seahawks are u kidding me! They gave me an opportunity to live my child hood dream. I'm forever grateful for that.

If waiving me and bringing in a returner helps Seattle win the super bowl this year, then I'm with it. #GoHawks

While Seattle fans have to be bummed about this move, it’s cool to see Tyvis (who played his college ball at Ohio State University) head home again.
The Seahawks obviously liked what they saw in Powell’s skill set during his rookie year, so, if he ends up being waived by the Browns at some point, I wouldn’t be surprised if he heads back to the Pacific Northwest. I don’t think he’d mind it either.
As always, we wish Tyvis the best as he moves forward in his career.
