Per Sheil Kapadia of ESPN, free agent cornerback DeShawn Shead will be visiting the Buffalo Bills, implying that it might be more difficult for the Seattle Seahawks to resign him than many thought.

The Seahawks apparently have an offer on the table for Shead, who was not tendered as a restricted free agent this offseason due to a knee injury sustained during Seattle’s divisional round loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Despite tearing both the ACL and meniscus in his left knee, Shead could be on track to play at the beginning of the 2017 NFL season.
Pete Carroll said he's "a little bit more optimistic" about DeShawn Shead's recovery. Not ruling out start of the season. #Seahawks

Whatever the recovery timeline is, Shead has been a valuable and versatile piece on Seattle’s defense. Bringing back the former undrafted free agent on a modest deal should be a priority for the team’s front office. His meeting with the Bills will likely accelerate talks with the Seahawks in regard to a new contract.
No matter what happens, fingers crossed for DeShawn’s speedy recovery.
