Eddie Lacy is a member of the Seattle Seahawks. I don’t think that’ll sink in until we see him in a Seahawks uniform. If he’s getting leaner than he looks today then Lacy may look quite svelt by September. He had a message to Seattle fans this week after signing with the team on Monday.
Eddie Lacy Gives A Shoutout To The 12sHey 12s, Eddie Lacy has a message for you. #GoHawks

For Seahawks fans, it’s a moment to cherish, as I think we can all agree that his words will go down in NFL history. The exact quote was: “Hi, I’m Eddie Lacy. Just signed here with the Seahawks. Excited to play in front of the 12s. Go Hawks.”
Who will ever be able to forget a message like that?
Seattle and the Green Bay Packers had become somewhat secret rivals following the Monday Night “simultaneous possession” game in 2012, the NFC Championship game in the 2014 season, and the Packers becoming the first team to blowout the Seahawks since 2011 in a game last season that we’re all trying to forget. Lacy now switches sides and promotes the “Go Hawks” mantra instead of whatever they say in Green Bay.
Lacy will travel to Lambeau Field at some point next season in a matchup against his former team, if healthy.
