Seattle Seahawks GM John Schneider met with the press on Monday as the team prepares for the NFL draft, which starts in three days. For the Seahawks though, that always could mean it really starts in four days.
But in non-draft (kinda) news, Schneider says that the team has moved past the Richard Sherman trade stuff, though they’re still happy to listen to offers and be blown away.
On Richard Sherman trade rumors:
Schneider on Sherman: 'Right now we’ve kind of moved past it. If someone calls and goes crazy with something, we’ll discuss it.'

Says Sherman had a great meeting with Pete Carroll last week.

Rumors have said that Seattle is looking for a rich bounty including a high draft pick and a solid veteran player in return, but have also said that they lessen their demands every day. For now, it’s quiet, but being quiet doesn’t necessarily mean anything either. If Sherman is on the Seahawks come Thursday morning, expect him to remain that way for the rest of the year.
As for the other trade rumor:
Schneider says nothing new from Seahawks standpoint on Marshawn Lynch. Says knows Raiders want it settled by draft.

10 days ago, NFL Network reporters were saying that Marshawn Lynch to Oakland was basically a done deal and that it would be official at any moment. Again, that was 10 days ago. It doesn’t seem to really matter to Seattle if they trade Lynch or not, because either way they’ll be without Lynch. The Raiders would seem to need to be the aggressors here, but how much do they really value a 31-year-old running back who hasn’t played in a year and hasn’t played well in two?
On the mystery surrounding the QB class in the draft:
Schneider calls lack of consensus among this year's top QBs “exciting.” Brings up fact team has traded down twice recently.

On Garry Gilliam:
Schneider on Garry Gilliam: 'We just felt like it was in our best interests not to match it and move forward at that position.'

On the Legion of Boom:
Schneider confirms Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor at the VMAC today.
