If you thought that the Seattle Seahawks trading down five spots from #26 to #31 with the Atlanta Falcons was the end of Seattle’s wheeling and dealing on day one of the 2017 NFL Draft, you were dead wrong. They traded out of the first round altogether, dropping to pick #34 and giving the San Francisco 49ers the 31st selection, which they used on Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster.

Seattle also picked up one of San Francisco’s fourth-rounders, slotting in at #111. So the Seahawks made no draft picks tonight, but did gain three picks combined from the Falcons and 49ers. Still available on the board for the Seahawks are Kevin King, Forrest Lamp, and Obi Melifonwu.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Seattle forgoing a first round pick for the fourth time in the last five years.

If Seattle ever hosted the NFL draft, John Schneider would probably still trade out of the first round.
