The Seattle Seahawks have a quartet of third-round picks at their disposal, and they’ve used two of them in the secondary. Central Florida cornerback Shaquil Griffin got the call from Seattle at pick #90, before Michigan safety Delano Hill went off the board at #95.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to Seattle adding to its safety depth, and if you’re following the draft on Twitter as well as on NFL Network or ESPN, you’ll notice that picks like the Hill one were tipped several minutes before the official announcement was made. Speed this thing up!
Hill is S/LB hybrid, IMO. Test numbers might have been better but I think he was trying to bulk up. Love his tackling.

That S pick reminds me of Mark Legree

the way the NFL is running this draft vs leaked picks is just terrible. its like a 20 minute delay. awful.

@DannyBKelly @LanceZierlein Hall was higher rated than a 5th rounder on most boards, he can do so many things.

While PCJS have often swung/missed on OL/DL in the draft, they rarely miss on DBs, even in late rounds.

Seattle's pick of @UMichFootball S Delano Hill is classic Seahawks. Not highly rated on many boards, but they have a plan for him. Long CB?

I don't know anything about Hill but I know Kam's days are numbered
— Nathan Ernst (@NathanE11) April 29, 2017
Delano Hill, Safety at 6'1 and 216 pounds running 4.47. Saw Hill a number of times & he was part SS, part FS and part Nickel. Versatile

A guy who has similar traits to a current (aging at this point) starter…taken rounds earlier than expected
