Marshawn Lynch has always remained quiet with the media, but in some situations he will definitely open up and be the perfect, affable, quotable Beast Mode that most of us have come to know and love. It seems then that the times when Lynch is most comfortable with the media ... is when he’s controlling it. In one such way that he’s doing that is through his ability to buy a full-page ad in The Seattle Times and sending one more message to the Seahawks fans and team owner who have supported him since 2010.
BEASTMODE - what a class act. Full page message in tomorrow SUNDAY Seattle Times. Don't miss it. pic.twitter.com/jTVJhWSrYE

As if there was anything that Marshawn couldn’t do, he’s also working hard to keep print media alive. Oh the irony.
Lynch was traded to the Oakland Raiders this week after making clear his intentions to return to the NFL after one season of retirement. The Seahawks were able to move up one round in 2018 with the move — sixth to fifth -- and get his cap hit off the books. Even through the star running back’s spats with head coach Pete Carroll at times, Lynch and Allen have always been close.
