The Seahawks story of the month has revolved around a reignited rumor that Russell Wilson has lost support in the locker room and that much of the consternation revolved around Richard Sherman. Defensive end Michael Bennett was quick to respond to the ESPN article about “the feud” on twitter, and he followed that up on Wednesday in a press conference where he again defended his quarterback as one of the best in the game.
Bennett also noted that no player is more important than the quarterback, and if your star player is not a QB, then your team probably isn’t going to win the Super Bowl.
