It’s been a busy Friday for the Seattle Seahawks.

With just two days before the start of training camp, Seattle has traded Kevin Pierre-Louis to the Chiefs for 2017 Pro Bowl special teams standout DJ Alexander, signed former Eagles first-round draft pick Marcus Smith, so what else can happen today? Oh nothing, just Food Network’s Guy Fieri reporting from Flavortown, USA that his buddy Marcel Reece is returning to the Seahawks.

If Fieri’s relationship with the former University of Washington wide receiver isn’t enough for you to be convinced of his inside information, maybe Russell Wilson’s tweet shortly thereafter will erase any doubt.

It should be noted that the Seahawks haven’t confirmed that Reece has re-signed with them, but signs are pointing towards an official announcement being made soon.

After being cut by the Raiders in September, Reece signed with Seattle last December when Will Tukuafu went down with a concussion. The four-time Pro Bowler caught 7 passes for 88 yards (postseason included), plus a successful two-point conversion against Arizona. He was a quality asset in the passing game, in addition to his role as a blocker for Thomas Rawls.

Oh yeah, if you’re interested, here’s a video of Guy Fieri and Marcel Reece cooking for Steve Mariucci.
