The Seattle Seahawks are set to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Friday, the second preseason game of the year for both teams. On the podcast this week to chat about it with me are two guests:
Ben Baldwin, a writer here at Field Gulls, does a deeper dive on his article from Wednesday on the Seahawks offensive line competitions at tackle and guard. We discuss the past, present, and future of the line, plus the fact that it’s only been one preseason game from which to gain most of this information, and that’s with no coaches film. (Also, what his Twitter name @guga31bb actually means)
Then I speak to LA-based improvisor/actor Luke McDonough, a Minneapolis native who wishes the Vikings and some other teams would go by “Minneapolis” instead of “Minnesota.” We talk about why they don’t, the best Minnesota-based movies, and his favorite Vikings of yesteryear.
(Excuse some of the rough audio transitions as we enter into a new phase of the podcast)
