The 2017 NFL preseason rolls on with tonight’s nationally televised game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks. This is a rare appearance for the Chiefs at CenturyLink Field, even for preseason. Since the stadium opened up in 2002, this is only Kansas City’s 5th game in Seattle, and three of them (counting today) are preseason.
Most teams typically consider week 3 to be “dress rehearsal” week, which means lots of playing time for the first-team units, usually into the third quarter. From Seattle’s side of things, the team will get back Paul Richardson and K.J. Wright, but we won’t see Thomas Rawls, C.J. Prosise, or Tyler Lockett. Everybody else should be good to go, and I’m sure the crowd will make it feel like a real game. All we’re hoping for are no injuries considering the Seahawks lost George Fant for the season in last week’s win over the Vikings.
