Actual NFL football is being played tonight. Okay, it’s preseason football, but it’s football nevertheless. The Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals will go to battle in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, which the league decided to move up to Thursday night effective this year. You’ll still have the traditional induction ceremony on Saturday, but this time the game precedes it.
No, you won’t be seeing Dak Prescott, Carson Palmer, Larry Fitzgerald, David Johnson, etc. on the field. Hell, you won’t even get Drew Stanton. Brace yourselves for Blaine Gabbert and Kellen Moore! Perhaps of interest to Seahawks fans is how some of Arizona’s young defensive players perform, particularly former Washington Huskies star safety Budda Baker, first-round draft choice Haason Reddick, and last season’s first-round selection Robert Nkemdiche, who’s on-field production was pretty much non-existent as a rookie.
