While the Seattle Seahawks engaged in a 12-9 struggle with the San Francisco 49ers, the Oakland Raiders were busy smashing the hapless New York Jets to the tune of 45-20.
Marshawn Lynch rushed for 45 yards on 12 carries in his first home start for his hometown team, but above all else, he picked up his first touchdown in two years, and indeed his first as a Raider.
In a losing effort, Jermaine Kearse also had himself a day, with 4 catches (on 5 targets) for 64 yards and both of the Jets’ touchdowns.
Kearse has clearly shown himself to be the top receiver on the Jets roster, as he hauled in 7 catches for 59 yards in his Jets debut last week. He’s already surpassed his touchdown total from 2016.
It was ultimately Oakland’s day, as they join Kansas City and Denver on the list of 2-0 teams in the AFC West. I think it’s time to dance with Marshawn.

You don't even need football in Oakland. Just host a Marshawn lynch dance party at the stadium. pic.twitter.com/jtwhZpv3HE
