Bevel is Slow, but catching on

I have been very critical of Bevel's Plan A (slower developing passing attack and bland lets trick people offense) for sometime.

The Tennessee game is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. The 1st half we saw Bevel's Plan A offense. No points till the final drive. Even then, if was a different offense. Quicker passes and deep passes. And they got the TD.

In the second half, you saw Bevel's Plan B offense. The the quick vertical passing attack. This is the the backup offense that has saved our seasons for the past couple of years now. RW goes on to have a record day. Might have been 500 yards and 7 TDs if they would have started the game with Plan B in place.

Hopefully, Bevel has realized that his Plan A offense won't work and will stick with Plan B, but for some reason Bevel really needs to prove that his failed offensive system will work. It barely worked against SanFan and they are bottom of the league this year. I have a bad feeling he will try to force Plan A on the team. All the evidence is out there that Plan B's quick vertical passing attack is a winner, yet they refuse to commit to it. Against Green Bay when RW went with the quicker passing offense, he easily went right through the GB defense. It looked simple on the few drives the team went with Plan B. Hopefully Bevel has learned his lesson and RW won't have to suffer for Bevel's slower developing recognition that his Plan A offense doesn't work. Let's hear it for the Quick Vertical Passing attack (or Plan B) it's a winner!
