On October 14th of the 2018 NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks will make their first ever trip to London, England to play a regular season game. Last week, it was revealed that Seattle will take on the Oakland Raiders at Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium, with Oakland officially designated as the home team.
The NFL announced on Thursday that tickets will go on sale right around the time of the 2018 NFL Draft in April, and also confirmed that the kickoff time will be 10 AM PT, network to be determined.
A handful of the recent NFL regular season games in London have started at 9:30 AM ET/6:30 AM PT, thus providing a full national broadcast in the United States. With Seahawks-Raiders set for 10 AM PT, it will be subject to regional distribution like any other game at that early window.
Seattle went the whole of 2017 without the 10 AM PT kickoff, as their Week 14 matchup at the Jacksonville Jaguars was moved to the 1:25 PM PT timeslot. For 2018, they’ve definitely got one confirmed, and could have as many as four, with the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Carolina Panthers all on the Seahawks’ road opponents list.
The full 2018 NFL schedule will be released some time during April.
