Yesterday the NFL kicked off the 2017 playoffs with the opening two Wild Card games. Fans were treated to one of the largest second half comebacks in playoff history when the Tennessee Titans overcame an eighteen point halftime deficit to the Kansas City Chiefs to start things off, and that was followed by a slugfest between the Los Angeles Rams and Atlanta Falcons in which Dan Quinn’s squad won in a way that looked a lot like the type of game the Seattle Seahawks used to win a lot of.
In any case, with Andy Reid dropping yet another playoff game where he had the lead in the second half, Andrew Whitworth apparently bringing some of the Cincinnati Bengals one and done mojo with him to Los Angeles and Marcus Mariota throwing a touchdown pass to himself, Twitter was ablaze with all kinds of kinds.
Thus, without making you wait any further, here were some of the reactions on Twitter to the opening of the playoffs and the ending of the season for two more NFL clubs.
First, to some reactions to the Titans and Chiefs game:
#Titans first team since 1957 to win road playoff game after being down by 18+. Of course it happens to the #Chiefs. #TENvsKC pic.twitter.com/RGMdI4neqH

Colin Cowherd first 2 Predictions of the NFL playoffs were Chiefs would beat the Titans, and Rams would beat the falcons because both(Chiefs,Rams have better Qb's.) Can't take these FS1 personalities seriously.

Pats knew they'd face Chiefs, Titans, or Bills next weekend. Chiefs were only team with remote chance to compete. Now they are gone. Titans and Bills both suck. Horrible QBs with no experience. Tomato Can beat goes on. #boring

I have now noticed the swaths of Titans fans gloating about how much of an asshole I am for doubting their shit team. Don't worry, your team is still shit. You were the benefactors of another display of Full Reiding by the Chiefs. No credit to you guys.

Not gonna lie, I’m still in disbelief @titans won. Also, how about Sean McDonough finally hitting puberty and having his voice totally crack on that blown call Chiefs fumble recovery? Very underrated moment.
— Clay Travis (@ClayTravis) January 7, 2018
Between the Chiefs, Titans, Rams and Falcons, there is 1 player from Ohio State on their rosters and he is a long snapper. Yet somehow they all made the playoffs. What voodoo is this?

This will easily rank amongst Andy Reid's Top 75 second half playoff collapses

And now for some reactions to the Falcons holding the highest scoring offense in the NFL to just 13 points in their 26-13 victory.
Rams (ST) gave the Falcons the ball twice last night right near the end zone. Can’t make those type of mistakes in the playoffs. Limit mistakes, you win the game.

Can't say I wanted #Falcons to beat the #Rams but it does give #Saints a shot at hosting the NFC Championship in the Dome.

Falcons have been winning ugly for the last few weeks, and did it again against the Rams. Wouldn't be surprised if they ugly their way back in again. But I'm also a fan, so I might just be cautiously optimistic.
— Steven Duke (@stevenWduke) January 7, 2018
You may be right. Thought the Rams came out flat. Dug themselves a hole and panicked. Not sure resting starters last week was the right move. That being said, Falcons will probably be favored at Philly next week.

Lsat week you were all happy & prancing around about the Rams making the playoffs... what happened cutiepie??

That’s just a sampling of the action from Saturday, and with two more games on tap for Sunday, the magic and fun of the NFL playoffs continue for another four weeks.
