When the Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks faced off in the second game of the preseason, the Chargers defense consistently applied pressure to Russell Wilson. The biggest thorn in Wilson's side that day waspro bowl defensive end Melvin Ingram, and as the Week 9 matchup between the two teams approaches, one of the biggest questions has been regarding the availability of the Chargers other Pro Bowl defensive end, Joey Bosa.
Bosa won the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year Award in 2016 and made the Pro Bowl in his second season in the NFL in 2017. While the Chargers currently sit at 4-2, their only losses have come to the Los Angeles Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs, teams which are currently a combined 11-1. Bosa's return is something observers feel could improve the team even further, and so news of the exact date of his return has been hotly anticipated.
According to reports Sunday morning, Bosa is expected to make that 2018 season debut when the Hawks and Bolts face off in Week 9.

Two weeks remain until the game between Seattle and the second best team from Los Angeles face off, so there is obvioualy time for the status of Bosa's availability to change. However, for now it appears Hawks fans will simply have to hope that Bosa is rusty for the showdown.
