Field Gulls FanPulse: Seahawks and Rams fans have switched places

The Seattle Seahawks won last Sunday ... but fans were not happy about it.

As we continue to track fan confidence in the Seahawks this season, things went from a small bump following a win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3, to a relatively steep plummet after the win over the Arizona Cardinals; from 51% to 24% when asked “How Confident Are Seahawks Fans In The Direction Of The Team?”

That’s obviously a season low and there are several factors why:

  • The loss of Earl Thomas to a broken leg
  • The choices made by offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer
  • And probability the inability to utilize Russell Wilson in his most effective manner

Seattle hosts the LA Rams this Sunday, and there couldn’t be a more confident bunch in the NFL. For good reason, the Rams have the league’s best offense and potentially a top-five defense. Fans wavered slightly after Week 3, dipping to a season-low 97%, but they’re right back at 100%. Could there be a number higher than 100% following this weekend’s game?
