Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse — a survey of fans across the NFL, powered by SurveyMonkey. Each week, we send 32 polls to 100+ plugged in fans from each team. Seahawks fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
Okay, normally when you see these FanPulse features, we talk about Seahawks fan confidence, the predicted margin of victory or defeat against the next opponent, and occasionally the national question of the week. It’s a holiday, so we’re doing something difference.
Fans from across all 32 NFL SB Nation sites were polled on which Thanksgiving side dish is the worst one. The important results are in, and the clear-cut trashiest of trash-ass side dishes are brussels sprouts.

I genuinely have never had brussels sprouts (or at least not to my recollection) so I am in no position to judge whether or not the right call was made. Green bean casserole sounds unappealing, cranberry sauce is alright, I’m a fan of stuffing, and uh... apparently there are 2% of you who have something against mashed potatoes. Why? Are you anti-potato? Are you a fan of potatoes but prefer them baked but not mashed? And even so, it’s the most trash? Oh well, different people have different tastes.
This is your signal to talk about good Thanksgiving side dishes, and also why ham is infinitely better than turkey.
