Seahawks-Panthers gameday inactives: Doug Baldwin will play, Poona Ford will not

The gameday inactives are released for the Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers, and the most important news is the fact that Doug Baldwin isn’t inactive. He was a game-time decision due to a groin injury, but he went through walkthroughs and is good to go.

Among those not playing is linebacker K.J. Wright, who was already ruled out on Friday with a knee injury. Austin Calitro will take his place. Rather surprisingly, both Joey Hunt and Jordan Simmons are inactive, so that means Ethan Pocic is surely the backup option in case something happens to either Justin Britt or DJ Fluker. On defense, Poona Ford and Branden Jackson are both scratches, as the UDFA Ford continues to find it difficult to get playing time on a weekly basis.
