Seahawks-Chiefs gameday inactives: Rashaad Penny, Germain Ifedi both out, DJ Fluker returns

The gameday inactives have been announced for the Seattle Seahawks’ Sunday Night Football matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. I’ll start with the bad news that right tackle Germain Ifedi and RB Rashaad Penny are both out due to their respective injuries. Seattle also made Bo Scarbrough inactive, so Chris Carson, Mike Davis, and JD McKissic are the only available running backs on the depth chart for this game. As for Ifedi, his replacement will be George Fant, making his first start at RT after getting several starts at left tackle in 2016.

For the good news? Right guard DJ Fluker is back from his hamstring injury, while safety Bradley McDougald is good to go after being a question mark with a knee injury. The likes of Shaquill Griffin and Jarran Reed are set to play, too!

Of note for the Chiefs is that they’ll be without starting safety Ron Parker and starting cornerback Kendall Fuller, so their secondary will be shorthanded. Oft-injured WR Sammy Watkins is out once again, as is former Seahawks RB Spencer Ware.

Here are the full inactives for both teams.
