Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald got a lot of info “according to a source” this week, and much of it happened to pertain to Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. And the New England Patriots.
Howe’s source says that Sherman is doing well in his recovery and that he’s on pace to begin running “at some point midway through organized team activities, which begin in May.” Sherman ruptured his Achilles on November 9 in a Thursday Night Football game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Making Sense of Richard Sherman Trade Rumors
His name came up in trade talks last year, information that both sides have publicly acknowledged, and one potential destination was to the Patriots. Howe’s source also says Shermn may still be interested in going to New England, be he must be able to pass a physical and prove he’s been able to fully recover.
Howe also says that the Seahawks have yet to confirm to Sherman that he’s in their plans for 2018, however, is that something that they even do with players?
